DonadonSDD disc holders are specifically designed to ensure maximum reliability, optimize flow (due to optimal opening of rupture discs), assure proper orientation in piping system, provide a tight seal, and prevent fragmentation of DonadonSDD rupture disc.
Typically, a bursting disc holder is a two-piece unit consisting of a base flange (inlet) and a holddown flange (outlet). The face of the holder is machined to hold the bursting disc and forms a leak-tight metal-to-metal seal.
This prevents the rupture disc from being damaged and allows unlimited inspection scenarios (temporary removal of the rupture disc for visual inspection)
