DonadonSDD is now part of Baker Hughes
In June 2025, DonadonSDD was acquired by Continental Disc Corporation (CDC), a leading American manufacturer of rupture discs and overpressure safety solutions headquartered in Liberty, Missouri. In August 2025, Continental Disc Corporation was in turn acquired by Baker Hughes, one of the world’s leading energy technology companies, active in more than 120 countries with over 55,000 employees worldwide.
As a result of this process, DonadonSDD is now the European centre of excellence for rupture disc manufacturing within the Baker Hughes group — combining over 70 years of Italian engineering expertise with the global reach and resources of an international energy technology leader.
DonadonSDD continues to operate from its manufacturing facility in Corbetta, Milan, Italy, maintaining its complete product range, engineering team and direct customer relationships, now supported by the global infrastructure, R&D resources and commercial network of Baker Hughes and Continental Disc Corporation.

Depending on disc’s type, DonadonSDD can supply discs from 1/8” (3mm) up to 40” (1000mm) in diameter.
