On large pressurized tanks, forced pipes, and gazometers, DonadonSDD’s ideal choice lies with SCD, SCR and Y90 model rupture discs: also available in large diameters, up to DN 900, they can be manufactured in special materials (Hastelloy, Monel, Inconel) suitable for direct contact with corrosive substances, such as some oil derivatives. In atmospheric tanks, or foam-based fire prevention systems used to protect oil tanks, DCD e DIF model rupture discs are suggested instead.
