Hygiene aspects are essential for the pharmaceutical sector. Our rupture discs combine impeccable performance – they must resist absolute vacuum and react to extremely low pressure – with the possibility to be perfectly clean and inserted between CLAMP fittings.
The best product for this application is, without doubt, the series of rupture discs that complies with 3-A Sanitary Standard number 60-01. Our discs are scored on the vent side and feature a smooth, and thus easy to clean, surface (both in C.I.P. and S.I.P. processes) on the process side. They are vacuum resistant with no need for supports, even for non-PED applications, and are provided with clamp gaskets certified according to FDA and USP class VI, 3-A, and Eu 10/2011 regulations.
The certification released by the American company 3-A SSI allowed our rupture discs to make one step further in the pharmaceutical industry, as they guarantee hygiene, quality, and material compatibility.
