HIA/HRA holders are specifically designed to ensure maximum reliability, optimize flow (due to optimal opening of rupture discs), assure proper orientation in piping system, provide a tight seal, and prevent fragmentation of DonadonSDD rupture disc.
Typically, a bursting disc holder is a two-piece unit consisting of a base flange (inlet) and a holddown flange (outlet). The face of the holder is machined to hold the bursting disc and forms a leak-tight metal-to-metal seal.
This prevents the rupture disc from being damaged and allows unlimited inspection scenarios (temporary removal of the rupture disc for visual inspection).
These holders are mounted between flanges and offer various features for optimal performance.
