CRYOGENIC

Rupture Disks and Cryogenic Safety Valves

In all industrial fields where tanks are used containing liquefie gas at cryogenic temperatures, a risk exists that overfilling of the tank itself, internal reactions, or overheating of external environment may cause a sudden rise in internal pressure, with the imaginable catastrophic results. In these cases, the best safety measure is installation of rupture discs in sealed units, which are easy to assemble and put no contaminants in contact with the process itself.
